Professional Photographic Printing:

Pix & Dubs has implemented the ultra compact Noritsu QSS-3001 fully digital minilab as its primary photographic print processor. It produces a maximum print size of 8"x12". It also has a very high capacity for it's very small size, producing an impressive 1000* 4"x6" (89x127mm) prints an hour.

Gloss and professional Lustre papers are available.

A dual magazine facility is available and the separate, self-standing film scanner can be positioned in various places around the minilab, where it best fits.

The QSS-3001 Digital is equipped with a laser exposure system that utilizes Noritsu’s unique multi-paper matching technology. This enables high quality prints of 320dpi to be printed on both analog and digital paper.

This exciting new compact digital minilab comes equipped with a compact printer-processor and a high speed, detached film scanner, that provides digital processing of image data from multiple sources with surprising ease of operation.

The QSS-3001 Minilab converts all scanned images into digital data .Therefore, a wide range of correction measures can be applied to significantly improve contrast, sharpness and red-eye, as well as to minimize problems with exposure, backlighting, and flash photography. Negatives with dust and
surface scratches can be automatically detected and corrected when the standard Digital ICE™ feature is employed.

An array of alternatives for input/output

Besides the ability to input film (Negative, Positive, Black&White), QSS-3001Digital's list of compatible input/output media also includes digital camera media, CD-R, DVD, MO, and Zip. In addition to offering the usual high quality silver halide print services, the QSS-3001Digital's extensive list of compatible media allows you to offer a wide range of additional services, including CD-R writing.

Automatic dust and scratch removal (Digital ICE) (Option)
Digital ICE technology discovers dust and scratches on film and automatically corrects them during the scanning process. This amounts to a huge reduction in makeover work, and also proves to be a very beneficial feature for positives and enlargements.

135/IX240 AFC (Option)
The QSS-3001Digital has an automatic film carrier that takes both 135 and IX240 film. Changing lanes is taken care of simply by moving a lever, making the scanning process easier and more efficient.

Colorimeter (Standard)

A colorimeter is utilized to minimize the color difference between the images on the monitor and the actual prints. Since you can correct images while viewing monitor images that are extremely close to the actual prints, this ensures high quality prints.
